Inadmissible statements and acts by the UN Secretary General during his recent regional tour cannot be reduced to a simple 'misunderstanding’. These are acts of unprecedented severity, which are '' neither justifiable nor erasable '' said Tuesday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MAEC), which reiterated Morocco's willingness to engage in responsible and constructive dialogue about the crisis caused by the remarks of the UN SG.

Requested by various media outlets, on the latest developments in the crisis between Morocco and the UN Secretariat General, the MAEC spokesman emphasized that '' contrary to what Secretary General spokesman said, the situation caused by inadmissible remarks and acts of the Secretary General, cannot be reduced to a simple "misunderstanding". This is, in fact, act of unprecedented gravity, which is neither justifiable nor erasable ''.

However, said the spokesman, Morocco reiterates its readiness to engage in a responsible, comprehensive and constructive dialogue about the crisis brought about by '' serious and unacceptable acts '' by UN Secretary General.
