The Sultanate of Oman voiced, on Sunday, its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over its entire national territory, expressing its deep appreciation for the wisdom of the Moroccan leadership, which is committed to a peaceful solution in the service of security and stability in the Maghreb region.

By reaffirming the recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara, in confirmation of the position communicated by President Donald Trump to HM King Mohammed VI, the United States upholds "the consistency" of its stance, while hailing Morocco’s role in peace and prosperity under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, U.S. Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart declared.

During a meeting on Tuesday in Washington between Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the latter reiterated that “the United States recognizes Moroccan sovereignty over [the] Sahara.”

The United Nations and the UN-led process are the "only legitimate framework" for addressing the artificial regional dispute surrounding the Moroccan Sahara, said the Speaker of Morocco’s House of Councillors, Mohamed Ould Errachid, on Monday in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
