Ukraine expressed on Monday its support for the autonomy plan, presented by Morocco in 2007, as a "serious and credible" basis for the "successful" settlement of the Sahara issue.

Morocco condemned, Thursday in Addis Ababa before the Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU), any exploitation of refugees and the recruitment of children from refugee camps into armed militias.

The United States on Monday reiterated its support for Morocco's autonomy plan, deeming it "serious, credible and realistic" with a view to settling the regional conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

Portugal reiterated its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative, presented in 2007, which it sees as a realistic, serious and credible proposal for a solution agreed within the framework of the United Nations, said the Joint Declaration that sanctioned the 14th Portugal-Morocco High-Level Meeting, held Friday in Lisbon, under the joint chairmanship of Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa and Morocco's Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
