The Commonwealth of Dominica has commended, before the UN Committee of 24 (C-24), the growing international momentum in favor of Morocco's territorial integrity and national sovereignty over its Sahara.

Morocco's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Omar Hilale, stated during the regional seminar of the UN Committee of 24 (C-24), held from May 25 to 27 in Managua, Nicaragua, that keeping the issue of the Moroccan Sahara on the Committee's agenda is anachronistic.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) is participating as part of a large delegation from the Kingdom of Morocco in the regional seminar of the UN Committee of 24 (C24) for the Caribbean, which is being held from May 25 to 27 in Managua, Nicaragua.

The Republic of Panama on Friday reaffirmed in Rabat its support for the autonomy plan under Moroccan sovereignty as the sole solution to the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, while also expressing its backing for United Nations Security Council Resolution 2797.

Côte d’Ivoire reaffirmed its firm and constant position regarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom over its entire territory, including the Sahara region.
