Speaker of Morocco's House of Councillors Mohamed Ould Errachid held talks on Saturday in Marrakech with the speakers and regional parliamentary unions from Latin America and the Caribbean to discuss ways of strengthening parliamentary cooperation and enhancing relations between Morocco and the countries of the region.

The Republic of Burundi reiterated on Friday its constant and unwavering support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire territory, including the Sahara region.

Ties between Morocco and the Philippines rest on a strong foundation that can be further leveraged across several strategic sectors, Philippine Ambassador to Rabat Leslie Baja said, welcoming the fifty years of bilateral diplomatic ties celebrated last year.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), represented by Saadani Maoulainine and Moulay Ahmed Mghizlate, is participating, as part of the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the 62nd session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC), which began on Monday, June 5, and will be held until July 7, 2026, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, held talks on Friday in Rabat with a US Congressional delegation composed of members from both the Republican and Democratic parties.
