The United Nations General Assembly has just adopted a resolution reiterating its support for the political process conducted under the exclusive auspices of the United Nations for the resolution of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, within the framework of the Security Council resolutions since 2007. It is the same resolution adopted by the 4th Committee last month.

The countries close to the region, which have a very good knowledge of the Moroccan Sahara issue, are called to contribute to a solution perspective, said Friday in Rabat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, during a joint press briefing with the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna.
