Bahrain has reiterated, before the UN Committee of 24 (C24), its support for serious and credible efforts by Morocco to achieve a political solution to the Sahara issue on the basis of the autonomy plan and within the framework of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its support for the Moroccanness of the Sahara, according to the minutes concluding the 13th session of the Joint Morocco-Saudi Arabia Commission which convened Thursday in Rabat.

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) takes part, as part of the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the work of the 50th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), which began Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and will continue until July 8.

Vice president of the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra Region, M'hamed Abba highlighted, Monday in New York, the international momentum of support for the autonomy plan presented by Morocco to close the dispute over the Sahara.

The support of the Spanish government to the Moroccan autonomy initiative for the Sahara is a "consistent position that respects international law," said Ángeles Moreno Bau, Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs, on Monday.
