The Green March, a historic event that will remain forever engraved in the memory of all Moroccans, was masterfully initiated by the late HM Hassan II in 1975. Celebrated every year on November 6, this great march of a peaceful nature led to the decolonization of the southern provinces and built a bright future marked by a tremendous economic and social change for the Sahrawi population, which continues today under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.
