Egypt reaffirmed, on Monday, its support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and its commitment to the UN-led process to settle the Moroccan Sahara issue.

The growing international support for the Moroccanness of the Sahara reflects the outright rejection of separatist tendencies threatening the security and stability of the region, Mexican MP Janine Patricia Quijano Tapia said on Thursday.

Belgian figures from various backgrounds have launched in Brussels a platform of support for the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara.

Morocco's autonomy initiative for the Sahara is the only basis for peace and development in the region, according to Chilean expert in international relations and president of the Africa Latina International Foundation, Antonio Aguilar.
