Germany "considers autonomy plan presented in 2007 as a serious and credible effort by Morocco and as a good basis for reaching an agreement" to the Moroccan Sahara

The historic breakthrough and major diplomatic triumph that Morocco achieved in 2020, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, on the path to the consecration of the Kingdom's territorial integrity and its legitimate sovereignty over its Sahara, were consolidated and strengthened in 2021.

Italian media have highlighted the "important" diplomatic successes achieved by Morocco in the Sahara issue, while pointing to the blatant involvement of Algeria.

Any action taken by Morocco cannot be dissociated from the will to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East, Lebanese writer and journalist Khairallah Khairallah said.

A symposium on "The development process in the southern provinces, foundations and priorities" was held Saturday in Laayoune, at the initiative of the Independent Network of Human Rights.
