The Kingdom of Morocco has taken note of the unilateral decision of the Algerian authorities to sever diplomatic relations with Morocco starting this day, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Tuesday.

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, on Saturday welcomed the content of the Speech of HM King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People and praised the depth of ties between Morocco and the European Union (EU).

The speech delivered by HM King Mohammed VI to the Nation, on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People, constitutes a "great opportunity" to redefine the pillars and the parameters governing relations between Spain and Morocco, said the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, on Saturday.

HM King Mohammed VI on Friday delivered a speech to the Nation on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People.

The Revolution of the King and the People, whose 68th anniversary Moroccans are celebrating on Friday, is an opportunity to highlight the scope and the symbolism of an unceasingly renewed struggle to build and raise the Nation's edifices and safeguard its territorial integrity.
