The Fourth Committee of the UN General Assembly adopted on Tuesday a resolution reaffirming its support for the political process conducted under the exclusive auspices of the United Nations for the settlement of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The Union of Comoros reaffirmed, in New York, its support to the Moroccan autonomy initiative to reach an "acceptable and legitimate" compromise solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The speech delivered by HM King Mohammed VI to the Nation on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Green March "was in all respects a founding speech that clealry highlighted the outlines of the Moroccan diplomatic doctrine on the issue of our territorial integrity and reinforced it through a global political perspective", said Tuesday the minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita.

Italy welcomed, Tuesday, the "serious and credible" efforts led by Morocco within the framework of the United Nations to settle the Sahara issue.

HM King Mohammed VI delivered, on Saturday, a speech to the Nation on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Green March.
