The leader of the Polisario militias, the so-called Brahim Ghali, prosecuted for serious genocide crimes, torture and terrorism, appeared on Tuesday by videoconference before Santiago Pedraz, judge of the National Court (the highest Spanish criminal court), according to judicial sources.

Here follows a statement issued by the ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad on the crisis between Morocco and Spain:

The indulgence shown by Spanish justice, through its arrangements with the leader of the Polisario separatists, the so-called Brahim Ghali, reflects a real reversal of values and constitutes a, purely and simply, denial of justice, underline Mohamed Aujjar, Khalihenna Ould Errachid and Ahmed Herzenni in an Op-ed published Sunday by Spanish newspaper "La Razon".

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita held on Friday a teleconference meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Shahid.

Head of Government held a meeting, on Thursday in Rabat, with the secretaries general of the political parties represented in Parliament, to discuss the developments in the political crisis between Morocco and Spain.
