Unsettled by the Morocco's international diplomatic successes, a small group of hostile countries has engaged -- as usual at the instigation of Algeria-- in false allegations during the 46th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), in a desperate attempt to camouflage their dismay and vainly counter the international momentum in support of the Kingdom's territorial integrity, Morocco's ambassador in Geneva Omar Zniber said on Tuesday.

The UN Human Rights Council (HRC) was questioned, on Monday, on the human rights violations perpetrated against the Sahrawi populations in the camps of Tindouf, in Algeria, and on the responsibility of the authorities of this country in the repression, the torture and the kidnappings of the opposing individuals in the said camps.

Eminent international personalities, including political leaders and elected officials from several countries and regional parliaments, former and in-office, addressed a letter to U.S. President Joe Biden in support of the decision of the United States of America recognizing Morocco's full sovereignty over its Sahara, affirming that the Moroccan autonomy initiative is the only lasting solution to this artificial conflict.
