The Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe has published in its Official Gazette the legal texts establishing an embassy in Rabat and a Consulate General in Laayoune.

Bruno Fuchs, deputy for the 6th district of Haut Rhin and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the National Assembly, called for a solution to the Sahara issue within the framework of the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco.

Paris must show a language of truth, courage and clarity on its diplomatic choices to end the territorial discord over the Sahara, said political scientist Mustapha Tossa on Sunday.

The French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean Yves Le Drian lauded, on Thursday, the quality of security cooperation between France and Morocco. He also reiterated his country's position in support of the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara.

The settlement of the conflict over the Moroccan Sahara remains dependent on a dialogue between the two real parties which are Morocco and Algeria, said, on Monday in Dakhla, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita.
