The Government of the Republic of Togo expressed, on Friday, its support for "Morocco's right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity" through the restoration of the free movement of persons and goods in the El Guerguarat crossing linking the Kingdom to Mauritania.

Cape Verde expressed its support to the Kingdom of Morocco in its "legitimate" decision to intervene peacefully to restore the movement of goods and people in the area of El Guerguarat, in the Moroccan Sahara.

Former Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki has underlined that the Algerian regime "is taking hostage" the populations held in Tindouf "for a fallacious political choice", deeming it wise to see them join their homeland, Morocco, instead of believing in erroneous perceptions.

The Foreign Affairs Committee at the Chamber of Deputies of Paraguay welcomed the sovereign actions and measures taken by Morocco which helped restore free civil and commercial movement at the post-border of El Guerguerat, expressing its support for the autonomy plan proposed by the Kingdom.

Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić-Radman said his country welcomes "Morocco's commitment to the cease-fire as well as to freedom of civil and commercial movement through the passage of El Guerguarat".
