Latin American human rights NGOs and civil society associations denounced the serious human rights violations committed by Polisario in Tindouf camps in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights.

The Moroccan-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), Moroccan side, welcomes the vote, on Thursday at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, against a hostile amendment to Morocco, stressing that the rejection  reflects MEP's awareness of the maneuvers by the enemies of our territorial integrity.

The United Kingdom welcomes "the strong and credible effort that Morocco is making to move the process forward" in order to settle the Sahara issue, British minister of state for the Middle East, Alistair Burt, told reporters Thursday in London.

The "important decision" taken Sunday by the Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara enshrines the primacy of the UN process in the management of the Moroccan Sahara issue and recalls that there is no parallel process, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, said Monday in Nouakchott.

The African Union (AU) summit in Nouakchott marks Morocco's substantial progress on the National Question, and report submitted on Sunday to the AU Heads of State and Government affirms the primacy of the rule of law, UN process in the management of the Moroccan Sahara issue.
