The European Parliament adopted, on Tuesday in Strasbourg, by an overwhelming majority the new fisheries agreement between Morocco and the European Union (EU).

The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met on Monday, February 11, 2019, with Valérie Gomez-Bassac French deputy from "Republique En Marche" and member of presidential majority in France.

The Colombian Congress reaffirmed its position in favor of a "political, fair and lasting" solution to the Sahara issue on the basis of the Moroccan autonomy plan, while condemning the "inhumane practices" inflicted on the populations sequestrated in the Tindouf camps.

The Sahara conflict requires a consensual solution in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and with the involvement of all parties concerned, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Friday in Rabat.
