The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs is taking part with the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco in the thirty-ninth session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which opened on Monday, September 10, 2018.

The members of the Laayoune Sakia-El Hamra Council unanimously announced on Wednesday their support for the new fisheries agreement initialed by Morocco and the European Union (EU). This support was expressed during an extraordinary session chaired by the president of the region, Sidi Hamdi Ould Errachid, in the presence of the wali of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra, governor of the province of Laayoune, Yahdih Bouchab.
