The United Nations Security Council extended, on Friday, MINURSO's mandate for six months (until October 31st, 2018) and reaffirmed the pre-eminence of the Moroccan autonomy initiative to resolve the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met Thursday, April 26, 2018, with Fernando Meza Moncada, Speaker of the Andean Parliament, including representatives of Parliaments of Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.
