Morocco highly appreciates the "constructive" position of the Republic of Bulgaria regarding the Moroccan Sahara issue, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, said on Wednesday.

The presentation of the Independence Manifesto marked a decisive turning point in the process of the national struggle waged by the Moroccan people for freedom, independence, the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and the defence of national constants, Mustapha El Ktiri, the High Commissioner for Former Resistance Fighters and Former Members of the Liberation Army, said on Thursday in Rabat.

The kingdom of Morocco has been remarkably elected to the Presidency of the United Nations Human Rights Council for 2024, during a vote held on Wednesday in Geneva.

Since the start of the registration process in the National Population Register and the Unified Social Register to benefit from direct social support, service provision centers at the level of leadership and administrative attachés of the city of Laayoune have witnessed a great demand for citizens wishing to benefit from this financial support.

The United Kingdom should offer its full support to Morocco and recognize its sovereignty over the Sahara, British MP Liam Fox said on Sunday.
