The Speaker of the Burundian Senate, Emmanuel Sinzohagera, commended on Thursday the socio-economic development dynamic in Morocco’s southern provinces, particularly in Laayoune.

The House of Representatives and Slovenia's National Assembly affirmed the importance of reaching a political, realistic and Consensual solution to the Sahara issue, in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council relating to this question.

Resolution 2654 is an important step in the process of settling the Sahara issue, said Morocco's Ambassador, Permanent Representative to the UN, Omar Hilale, noting that it is a text "structuring in the arsenal of Security Council resolutions."
