US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, reaffirmed Monday in Washington his country's support for Morocco’s Autonomy Plan to settle the Sahara issue, stressing that the United States continues to view this plan "as serious, credible, and realistic".

For the third year in a row, the US State Department's annual report on human rights, released on Monday, devotes a chapter to Morocco, including its Sahara.

A delegation from the US Congress, on a working visit to Morocco from March 13 to 17, was briefed on the dynamics of development taking place in the Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region. It also met a number of local officials and visited several industrial units.
