The Republic of Iraq reiterated, on Saturday, its constant position in support of the Kingdom of Morocco's territorial integrity, praising the international momentum in favor of the autonomy plan for the resolution of the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The African Atlantic States initiative and process, first launched in Rabat in 2009 before gaining new momentum since June 2022, in line with His Majesty King Mohammed VI's vision, stem from a strategic project that carries historical and geopolitical stakes for both the African continent and the world, stated Morocco's Lower House Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami on Thursday in Rabat.

Guatemala considers the Autonomy Plan presented by Morocco in 2007 as a realistic, credible and serious basis for reaching a definitive solution for this dispute, within the framework of respect for the Kingdom's territorial integrity and national sovereignty, Guatemalan Deputy Foreign Minister Mónica Bolaños said on Tuesday in Rabat.
