His majesty the King Mohammed VI said that the Arab Maghreb Union continues to be plagued by the repercussions of narrow-minded calculations regarding the artificial dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

The Chairman of the Royal advisory council for Saharan affairs Mr Khalihenna Ould Errachid, had talks Monday evening in Rabat with the UN personal envoy to the Sahara Mr.  Christopher Ross.

Pitching tents by a group of citizens outside urban limits of Laayoune, to show what they consider "legitimate social claims," is part of the climate of freedom and democracy prevailing in this region, as in all other parts of the Kingdom, said sources close to local authorities.

 The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held on Tuesday in Rabat, talks with a delegation of Argentine parliamentary assistants, visiting Morocco.

HM the King Mohammed VI said that the defence of the Moroccan Sahara remains the Kingdom's sacred cause and requires a full mobilization to foil the desperate schemes of the enemies of Morocco's territorial integrity.
