Niger has expressed its deep satisfaction with the adoption, on October 31, of the historic Resolution 2797 by the United Nations Security Council. This resolution endorses—within the framework of Morocco’s sovereignty—the autonomy plan presented by Morocco as a serious, credible, viable, and lasting basis for achieving a political solution to the regional dispute over the Sahara.

The Republic of Sierra Leone reaffirmed on Thursday in Rabat its support to Morocco's territorial integrity and sovereignty over all its territory, including the Sahara region, while noting with great satisfaction the historic adoption by the United Nations Security Council of Resolution 2797.
