The government of the Canary Islands aligns with Spain’s official position, supporting Morocco’s autonomy plan as the most serious, realistic and credible basis for resolving the dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, Canary Islands President Fernando Clavijo said on Monday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
